Thank you for taking a few minutes to read our event calendar guidelines.
Note that all community submitted events must meet the DOCD calendar's submission guidelines. We reserve the right to edit calendar submissions and reject submissions that don't adhere to the guidelines.
- All events must take place within close proximity of the boundaries of the Downtown Olympia Creative District. Here's a map for you to reference.
- Events may be posted up to 60 days in advance.
- Event listings must include the following information:
- event description
- location
- date &time
- ADA compliance
- cost of admission
- any relevant age requirements for attendance
- event description
- Event descriptions can not exceed 200 words. Note: the calendar administrator may shorten event descriptions that exceed this limit.
- All events must be open to the public i.e. no private or invitation only events.
- All events must provide information on accessibility and ADA compliance.
- Non-ADA compliant events must provide contact information for an event organizer who can be contacted about accommodation requests for individuals with disabilities.
- Events promoting racism, sexism, ableism, homophobia, transphobia, religious intolerance and other forms of bigotry and hatred are not permitted.
