About the Artpreneur Business Readiness Workshop
Creative entrepreneurs play an essential role in our local economy and culture. Artists and makers bring inspiration, connection, and vitality to our communities. At the same time, running a creative business comes with distinct challenges — managing sales platforms, marketing, events, commissions, bookkeeping, licensing, and more, all while protecting your creative energy.
This workshop is built specifically with creatives in mind. You’ll connect with fellow artists and makers, gain practical business tools, and build confidence to shape a business that supports both your income and your creativity. The program welcomes creatives across disciplines, including fine artists, craftspeople, woodworkers, jewelers, writers, poets, musicians, performers, potters, designers, and other makers.
This offering is presented in partnership with the Downtown Olympia Creative District and is supported by funding from the City of Olympia.
