Founded in 2006, Olympia Family Theater (OFT) is an educational theater that produces high quality arts experiences for people of all ages. We use theater as a tool for building community resilience, celebrating diverse identities, and preparing youth to be the stewards of tomorrow.We create a brave spaces for young people to be imaginative, joyful, and confident. Our educational programs facilitate the process of young artists finding, developing and using their unique voices and perspectives. Using theater, we teach critical life skills such as responsibility, teamwork, integrity, and empathy. Our goal is to facilitate both the individual development and collective growth of all young artists who enter our space.
