Moving Parts Dance offers weekly adult classes and drop-ins for all people and abilities in Olympia and the South Puget Sound. Rates are sliding scale, and classes center joy, movement, and feeling grounded and centered in your practice. We also hold a wide range of community events and provide space for others to gather and share project work.

The Moving Parts, the company, is an invite-only performance group of dedicated movement artists who study dance together through various lenses, and perform the dance works of founder & artistic director, Sydney Blanchard. Members of the company attend weekly company classes + rehearsals, as well as receive discount rates for all drop-ins and guest workshops. Our members approach dance from a variety of backgrounds- coming together to celebrate the unique strengths of one another and support each other’s growth in a collaborative community based on trust. Company members make up and represent the heart and soul of this project and are invaluable members of our studio.
