hummingbird studio
hummingbird studio is a free, inclusive community art space where art belongs to everyone. Established in downtown Olympia in 2015, we offer a safe, welcoming, and accessible space where artists of all ages and abilities can create, connect, and belong.
hummingbird studio believes everyone is an artist and that art is essential to our well-being and vital to a healthy, vibrant community. We currently offer free art sessions on Tuesdays and Thursdays at the YWCA’s Friendship Hall. Pre-registration is required. Email hummingbird@kokuaservices.org for more details.hummingbird studio is proud to be an anchor partner at the Daley Arts Center at the Olympia Armory, scheduled to open in late 2027. We’re always seeking dedicated volunteers and welcome proposals for artist-led workshops and collaborations.
