ISM Festival
ISM Festival is a 3 day, multi-venue experimental performance art festival taking place in Downtown Olympia, WA. It typically happens in mid-September and features music, sound, dance, and performance art - by artists hailing from the Pacific Northwest and beyond.
2025 ISM featured 96 artists performing in 6 venues! We pay homage to the historic Olympia Experimental Music Festival (1995-2019). Artist bookings open in the spring. ISM exists to give voice to emerging, unusual, and non-commercial expressive art.

The Olympia Creative District is a state-certified Creative District under the Washington State Arts Commission (ArtsWA) program. This website was funded by cultural access funding through INSPIRE Olympia.
